A few sketches of animals from the early 1990s. Most of these were done from photos in photography magazines, Practical Photography which I bought every month.
This was Squeaks, our rescue cat that we got as a kitten from the RSPCA. He was so called because that was the noise he made rather than a full blown miaow. He was very loving most times, but he did like to bite if he thought you were stroking him too long or if you had to move him from his favourite seat, which for some reason was the fluffy cover on the toilet lid...
This, at A4, is quite a lot bigger than the preceding sketches.
This little fellow used to live under our shed. The cat was fascinated by him, but not daft enough to try claiming him as a trophy.
