A series of articles covering our original home town of Rochdale. It was mentioned in the Domesday Book, started out in Lancashire and somehow found itself in Greater Manchester.
I've had to be selective a little bit as some other articles set in the town can be reached from the Personal Memories or Family Memories index pages, though the articles featured here are mostly about the town itself rather than what I or my ancestors got up to in it...
