Late January 1982. We have a rare snow storm in Blackpool.
For some reason I am out in it. Normally hobbit-like when there's bad weather, I must have been so overcome with the sight of snow falling that I ventured out to take a couple of pictures. This is Ansdell Road at the junction with Waterloo Road, looking towards the town centre. A bus is stopped at the bus stop whilst the driver slips off his jacket for a moment to put on a pullover and then the jacket over it. Brrrr! Never seen the like...
This is pretty much the same place, but now looking east up Waterloo Road.
